04 / EXPERIENCE

20 years in the industry

We combine FINKO experience with ALUPROF systems and other proven solutions.

ALUPROF external shading

Control the light. Enjoy everyday comfort.

External shading helps reduce overheating and adjust daylight throughout the day. The right choice depends on whether you prioritise darkness, adjustable light, the view or a combination of these.

External roller shutters

External roller shutters

Privacy and stronger darkening.

Details and selection

A rolling curtain covers the window, improves privacy and substantially reduces incoming light. A closed shutter can support window insulation. Installation is selected for a new or existing building. A standard shutter is not automatically a security shutter: that requires suitable construction and a verified resistance class.

SkyFlow external venetian blinds

SkyFlow external venetian blinds

Control daylight by adjusting the slats.

Details and selection

Adjustable slats change the angle of incoming light without fully covering the window. They suit homes where controlling sunlight, daylight and the outward view is important.

SkyRoll textile screens

SkyRoll textile screens

Solar protection with a view depending on the fabric.

Details and selection

Technical fabric reduces solar exposure and glare. Shading and outward visibility depend on the fabric type and colour. A screen does not necessarily provide blackout or privacy after dark when indoor lights are on.

SkyTwin roller shutter and screen

SkyTwin roller shutter and screen

Roller shutter and screen, used independently.

Details and selection

Combining a roller shutter and screen allows independent use of both. The screen can provide daytime solar protection, while the shutter curtain offers stronger darkening and window coverage.

Controls and installation for your home

Depending on the system, options include manual operation or an electric drive, wall switch, remote control and compatible automation. Weather sensors and schedules must suit the shading type and do not override wind limits. Plan the box, guides, power supply and servicing access before finishing the façade.

Somfy / shading controls

One touch. Your home’s own rhythm.

We match controls to roller shutters, external venetian blinds and screens. Start with a wall switch or remote, then extend a compatible installation with an app and automated routines.

Wall switch and remote

Wall switch and remote

Simple control of one shade or a whole group.

Details and selection

Control one shade or a group, such as every shutter in the living room. With suitable venetian blinds, you can also adjust slat position. Functions depend on the drive and controller.

TaHoma app

TaHoma app

Phone control with a compatible TaHoma hub.

Details and selection

Connect compatible devices to a TaHoma hub to control shading from your phone and create routines such as “morning” or “away”. Control from outside the home requires internet access and suitable configuration.

Schedules and sensors

Schedules and sensors

Schedules and responses to suitable sensors.

Details and selection

Shades can follow a schedule or signals from a compatible sun sensor. A suitable wind sensor can trigger the protective response required for the shade. Sensors do not override the product’s weather limits.

Product illustrations: ALUPROF and Somfy. Examples shown — equipment is selected for your project.

Not every motor, remote and sensor works together. io, RTS and wired controls require appropriate selection; position feedback and features also depend on the devices. We establish zones, controls, power and integration before quoting.

Warmth. Quiet. Safety.Details and selection
Glazing options

Warmth. Quiet. Safety.

Frames shape the design. The right glazing shapes everyday comfort. We select glazing to suit orientation, window size, surroundings and the way you use your home.

Less heat loss

Low-emissivity coatings and insulating cavities help reduce heat loss. A warm-edge spacer improves insulation at the edge of the glazing.

More comfort in summer

Solar-control glass limits incoming solar energy. We consider it particularly for large south- and west-facing windows, alongside shading and ventilation.

Quieter rooms

A suitable combination of pane thicknesses and acoustic lamination can reduce outdoor noise. We consider the noise source; the result also depends on the complete window and installation.

Safer if glass breaks

In laminated glass, fragments remain bonded to the interlayer. Toughened glass breaks into smaller pieces. We select the glass type for its intended location and use.

Greater resistance to forced entry

Glazing with a verified resistance class can make penetration more difficult. Burglary protection depends on the complete solution: glass, frame, hardware and installation.

Daylight that suits your home

Light transmission, glass colour and reflectance affect the appearance of rooms and façades. We balance natural light with solar control.

How do you compare glazing options?

Ug and Uw — glazing and the whole window

A lower Ug means better thermal insulation of the glazing. Uw describes the complete window and also depends on the frame, dimensions and glazing edge.

g and LT — solar energy and daylight

The g-value describes solar energy transmission; LT describes visible light transmission. Selection depends on orientation, shading and your needs.

Rw (C; Ctr) — noise reduction

Compare acoustic ratings together with spectrum adaptation terms suited to the noise source. A glass rating is not the rating of the complete window.

Safety and security — configuration matters

Glass designed for safer breakage and glass with enhanced attack resistance serve different purposes. We specify the required classes and construction for each application.

Not every glazing option provides every function. Your quote will specify the proposed construction, performance and application, without tying the choice to a single glass brand.

Easy access. Controlled door movement.Details and selection
GEZE / door technology

Easy access. Controlled door movement.

A door closer helps close the door after use. An automatic operator can also open it. The right choice depends on the door, its users and how you want to operate it.

CONTROLLED CLOSING

GEZE door closers

You open the door manually. The closer guides the leaf back to the closed position.

  • Smoother closing

An adjusted closing speed helps reduce slamming and abrupt door movement.

  • Fewer doors left open

Useful at entrances, vestibules and frequently used doorways.

  • Matched to your door

We select closing force and settings to suit the leaf and operating conditions, while considering ease of opening.

Closing is not locking: a suitable lock is needed to secure the door.

AUTOMATIC OPENING AND CLOSING

GEZE automatic door operators

A powered operator opens and closes the door in response to a suitable activation device.

  • Convenience with your hands full

A button or sensor makes access easier with shopping, a pushchair or luggage.

  • Easier access

A properly designed system can make the entrance easier to use for older people and people with reduced mobility.

  • Controls suited to your building

Integration with compatible access control or an intercom may be possible. We establish the scope before selection.

Safety sensors and the movement area are designed for the specific entrance. Not every operator offers every function.

What do we consider when selecting a system?

The door and installation location

Leaf dimensions and weight, opening direction, usage frequency, wind exposure and available installation space.

Safety and operation

Activation method, protection of the movement area, lock compatibility, behaviour during a power failure and future servicing.

For fire doors and escape routes, the complete equipment must suit the door documentation and building requirements. Not every model provides these functions.

Window open? Your home can respond.Details and selection
Opening contacts / smart home

Window open? Your home can respond.

A magnetic contact reports whether a window or door leaf is open or closed. Connected to a compatible system, it can support alarms and temperature control.

Heating and air conditioning

Opening a window can trigger a programmed reduction in heating or cooling in that zone. The automation defines when normal operation resumes, respecting equipment requirements.

Alarm integration

An alarm panel can use the opening signal to trigger an alarm when armed or warn about a window left open. Available responses depend on the installation configuration.

Check before leaving

A compatible system can display window and door status and send notifications. Useful when leaving home and setting up smart-home routines.

A contact alone cannot directly control every air conditioner, confirm that a lock is secured or detect broken glass. We match mounting, wiring or wireless communication and interfaces to the alarm and HVAC systems. Plan these before joinery production.

A colour that completes the architecture.Details and selection
Aluminium colours and finishes

A colour that completes the architecture.

Choose frame colours alongside your façade, roof, doors and interior. ALUPROF systems offer different aluminium finishes, from powder coating to decorative wood-effect surfaces.

Powder-coated colours

Powder coating offers a broad choice of colours, including RAL shades. Depending on the coating range, smooth or textured surfaces and different gloss levels are available. Black, anthracite, white and earthy shades can complement your home’s character.

Wood-effect finishes

A decorative coating reproduces wood colour and grain on an aluminium profile. Shades inspired by oak, walnut or mahogany add a warmer appearance while retaining the aluminium construction. This is a surface finish, not a timber profile.

Different colours inside and out

Selected systems allow different exterior and interior colours. Dark frames outside and a light finish inside let you coordinate the façade and rooms independently. We confirm availability for the specific construction.

Screen and printed colours are indicative. Approve colour, texture and gloss using a physical sample. Availability, surcharges, lead times, care and exposure requirements are specified in the quote.
