What to prepare

Photograph the windows from inside and outside, including the wall, sill and threshold. Give the number of windows, approximate sizes and project location. Tell us whether the wall is insulated and whether you plan façade work. Describe your priorities: warmth, quiet, appearance or easier opening. Approximate dimensions help the first discussion and do not replace the measurement before production.

How replacement is planned

1. Contact us by phone or enquiry form.
2. We review your photos, needs and the existing building.
3. You receive a quotation with the proposed scope.
4. We measure the openings, supports and threshold details.
5. Once the arrangements are approved, the windows are made to measure.
6. We install the agreed units and check opening, closing and sealing.

Agree the scope before ordering

Discuss removal and collection of the old windows, wall repairs, sills and tidying separately. These tasks should be included in the agreed offer. Enlarging an opening or changing the structure requires agreement with the building designer. Requirements affecting a shared façade should be clarified before ordering.

A carefully sealed connection

A replacement window needs stable support, mechanical fixing and a continuous seal around the frame. The existing reveals must be checked and prepared. FINKO mainly uses Soudal solutions. The internal layer limits air and water vapour entering the joint, the middle layer insulates, and the outside layer protects against weather.
